He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Karen; his daughters, Renée Bomers (Jason) and Rochelle O'Brien (Jim); his grandchildren, Timothy, Meredith (Jonas), James, Jonathan (Alycia) and Molly; and his siblings, Michele Stephens, Richard, Ronald and Robert.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trenton Chapel - Martenson Family (3200 West Rd, Trenton, MI 48183). The lying in state was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grosse Ile Presbyterian Church (7925 Horse Mill Rd, Grosse Ile Township, MI 48138). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at the Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery (32163 Huron River Dr, New Boston, MI 48134).
