With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Herbert Smith of Grosse Ile, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis J.; his children, Bruce H. Smith, Barbara L. Smith, Brian R. Smith and Nancy Smith; and his siblings, Howard, Jean Smith, Darlene Needham and Barbara Schafer.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Melissa Everhart (Charles "Chuck") and Miranda Smith; his great grandchildren, Charlie and Sam Everhart; his friend Francine Boye; and also Bud.
