With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Herbert Smith of Grosse Ile, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Herbert left this world on June 11, 2025 at the age of 102, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis J.; his children, Bruce H. Smith, Barbara L. Smith, Brian R. Smith and Nancy Smith; and his siblings, Howard, Jean Smith, Darlene Needham and Barbara Schafer.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Melissa Everhart (Charles "Chuck") and Miranda Smith; his great grandchildren, Charlie and Sam Everhart; his friend Francine Boye; and also Bud.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Molnar Funeral Homes - Nixon (2544 Biddle Ave, Wyandotte, MI 48192). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
