We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2023, at the age of 70, John Michael Getz of Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan, born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by : his wife Kathy; his children, Allison Sullivan (Kevin) of Grosse Pointe, MI, John Michael Getz, Jr. (Sabrina) of Greenwich, CT, Molly Sheldon (Oliver) of Pelham, NY and Max Getz (Eliza); his brothers, Arthur Getz, Jr. (Betsy) and Charles Getz (Marna) of Draper, UT.; and his son Little League.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul on the Lake Catholic Church in Grosse Pointe Farms or St. Clare of Montefalco in Grosse Pointe Park.
