She was predeceased by: her grandchildren, Andrew Bayster, Auden Martus, Caroline Bayster and Alexander Bayster; her parents, Robert Ruthven and Marilyn Ruthven (Grewe); and her brothers, Robert Neil Ruthven, Jr. (Joya) and Douglas Ruthven (Janet).
She is survived by: her sibling Grosse Pointers; her daughters, Heather Bendure (Matt Martus) and Holly Bayster (Andy); her sister Barbara Morrow; and her in-laws, Brian, Cindy, Bruce and Mary Ann Bendure.
In lieu of flowers, the family is establishing the Carol Bendure Peace and Justice Scholarship Fund.
