She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Piotrowski of Stroh's Brewery; her sister Geraldine Johnson; her grandson Adam Reynolds; her parents, Agnes Wyzlic and Stephen Wyzlic; and her son-in-law Dean Salley.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Nowicki, Catherine Salley, John Nowicki (Nancy) and Ann Ginzinger (Christopher); her grandchildren, Cheri Nowicki, Steven Nowicki (Christina), Carly Ginzinger, Alec Ginzinger and Lily Ginzinger; her stepgrandson Joseph Salley (Savannah); and her great grandchildren, Jasmine Maxwell, Lily Daugherty, Evelyn Tessman, Andrew Tessman and Blake Reynolds. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and by her dear friends.

She spent many hours crocheting "hair hats" for donating to fellow cancer patients.
