Francis Augustine McCarroll Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Francis Augustine McCarroll of Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 26, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank J. McCarroll and Julia McCarroll; and his siblings, Joseph and Kathryn. He is survived by: his siblings, Gerald and Julie Ann (George); his mother-in-law Karen Lee Beeby; his pet Jack; his significant other Karen; his children, Marya and Frank; his siblings, Mary Louise, Gerry (Sandy) and Patrick (Susan); his grandsons, Nicholas, Franky, Max and Leo; Marya and Francis Ryan. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Verheyden, Inc. (16300 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial (32 Lake Shore Dr, Grosse Pointe Farms, MI 48236).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Legion, Post 372.
