He was predeceased by : his parents, James Petrouleas and Voulas Arnoutis. He is survived by : his wife Jan Goike; his children, David Petrouleas, Christina Binkley (Thomas), Michael-John Petrouleas (Dina) and Athena Belanger (James); and his grandchildren, Helena, David, Lauren Petrouleas, Adam, Austin Binkley, Aria and Coco Belanger.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Verheyden, Inc. (16300 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230). The lying in state was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church (21800 Marter Rd, St Clair Shores, MI 48080). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 4:00 PM at the same location.
