It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Margaret McKean (Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Orville DeWitt, Sr. of St. Louis and Margaret Holekamp DeWitt of St. Louis; and her husband George. She is survived by : her siblings, Donna DeWitt Lambert of Vero Beach and William O. DeWitt, Jr. of Cincinnati. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made in her honor to Grosse Pointe Animal Adoption.
