He was predeceased by: his wife Connie Brooks; his children, Brigid Zvirbulis (John) and Nora Hard (Gregor); his grandchildren, Cailey Hard, Liam, Ronan Zvirbulis, Ainsley Hard and Amelia Rose Hard; his siblings, Stanley Brooks, Jane Pillars, Imogene Glover and Katherine Dirks; and his parents, Andrew Brooks (Andy) and Maggie Brooks.

He is survived by: his friends, Pointe Hardware and Wayburn.
