He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothea Alice Garvin (Blosser) and Edwin Michael Garvin; and his sister Dorothea Joanne Petrie (Charlie). He is survived by: his daughter Julia Garvin; his grandchild Robbie Duvall; his daughter Jennifer Garvin Bonnici; his son-in-law Tony Bonnici; his grandchildren, Chloe and Conor; his son Jason Garvin (Sabrina Garvin); his grandchildren, Genevieve and Jasper; and his siblings, Judy Harthorn (Don), Patricia (Patty) Donahue (Jack), Kathleen Wrobel (Ron) and Thomas Garvin (Randi English).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home (20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
