She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bucacink and Maria Bucacink; her siblings, Charles, Vera and Dan; and her daughter-in-law Debra.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark (Kathy) and Andrew (Elissa); her granddaughter Izabella; and her pets, Augustus "Auggie" and Lexie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church (21800 Marter Rd, St Clair Shores, MI 48080-2484). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered in Eleanor's memory to Assumption Greek Orthodox Church or St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church, Attn: Building Fund, 5108 Kuykendall Road, Charlotte, NC 28270.
