Gail Marie David Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gail Marie David (Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan), born in Traverse City, Michigan, who passed away on November 4, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Gail may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gail touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Turnquist and Gordon Turnquist; and her siblings, Karen Turnquist and Gary Turnquist. She is survived by: her husband George; her sons, Joseph (Nicole), Gary (Camila) and John (Lauren); and her grandchildren, Lily, Sunny and Freddie.

Donations to a St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a favorite charity would be a fitting tribute to Gail.
