He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Shammas and Adele Shammas; his wife Mary Mahfood (Jamaica); and his sister Janet. He is survived by: his sons, Gary Shammas (Mary) and Roger Shammas (Kim); his grandchildren, Brittany (Collin Bowling), Madelayne and Nikkolas; and his siblings, Violet Mahfood, Robert Shammas (Elizabeth), Florence Mourad and Richard Shammas (Kathy).
