He was predeceased by: his parents, Selim Attar and Marie Attar; and his siblings, Victor Attar and Olga Dadourian. He is survived by: his significant other Carol Ann Coon; his children, Sharon Attar, Annie Attar MacAskill and Paul Selim Attar (Suzanne); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Disque Rick Maycroft (Robert), Danny MacAskill, Duncan MacAskill and Michael Attar.
