He was predeceased by: his brother Jim (Nancy); and his parents, Cyrilla Werthman and Aloysius Werthman. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy (Rozmary); his children, Debra Vandenbussche (Chantal), Thomas (Shelley), Dennis (Laura) and Jean Leonard (Brian); and his grandchildren, Olivia, Roger, Cecelia, Griffin, Grace, Ryan, Michael, Jason and Robbie.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (21620 Greater Mack Ave, St Clair Shores, MI 48080). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, 1820 Mt. Elliott Street, Detroit, MI 48207.
