David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore and Jessica; his brother Ted; and his wife Pam. He is survived by: his children, Carolyn, Carrie Stover (Michael), Elizabeth, Betsy Gross and David Barthel (Jennifer).
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church (467 Fairford Rd, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
