She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William and Lorraine; her husband Dave Barthel; her children, Carolyn, Carrie Stover (Michael), Elizabeth, Betsy Gross and David Barthel (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Jonathan (Abigail), Charles, Connor (Jenna), Andrew, Lauren and Meghan; and her sisters, Patricia Haarz and Laura McKenna.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church (467 Fairford Rd, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
