We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2025, at the age of 87, Marilyn K. Kotel of Gwinn, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Desmond Connors and Dorothy Connors (Larsh); her husband Martin Kotel; her daughter Darla Filizetti; her son-in-law Gary Filizetti; and her siblings, Edwin Connors, Wayne Connors and Jerry Connors.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Kotel (Donald), Alice Curtis and Robin Kotelowski; her grandchildren, Staci, Melissa, Jody, Jamie, Christopher, Emma and Audrey; and her siblings, Carol Connors, Janice Boogren, Dawn Senne (Burt), Darlene Meden (Norm), Gary Connors (Mary) and Jill Leferink. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A prayer will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Canale-Gwinn Funeral Home and Cremation Services (96 E Stephenson Ave, Gwinn, MI 49841). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (280 Boulder St, Gwinn, MI 49841).
