With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dolores Mae Nelson of Hadley, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 27, 2025 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley and Marie. She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Lugan (late Norman), Dolores Strausbaugh (late Al) and Robert Nelson (Carol); her grandchildren, Ingrid Henkel, Matthew Henkel, Tim Strausbaugh (Tamara), Jeff Strausbaugh, Heather Wilfong (Brian) and Eric Nelson (Chantel); her great grandchildren, Corina, Dylan, Nicole and Alexis; her great great grandchild Jax; her sisters, Maria Pannacook and Ruth Ceci; and her husband Robert Nelson.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
