With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Anne Joan Kaffenberger of Hale, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Anne Joan left this world on July 7, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Mansbach Livingston and Lorna Emaline Hoffman; her son James Steven (Lisa); her husband Eugene of Henry's Catholic Church; and her siblings, James and Dorene Rowntree.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Serpetti (Mike), Frank (Tina), John (Deana), Carol and Gene (Lisa); her grandchildren, Angela, Michael, Eric, Christopher, Kelley, David, Jason, Kristen and Caitlin; her great grandchildren, Carly, Cassie, Tauri, Naveah, Maddox, Lucas, Leila, Lucy, Andrew, Brenden, Evan, Anna, Peyton and Noah; her sibling's children, Linda Kelke (Steve), Barb Srock (Bob), Daniel Rowntree (Angie) and Jerry Handley (Karen); and her close friend Karol Shellenbarger (Church).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (3091 M-65, Hale, MI 48739). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked memorial considerations be directed to the Hale Area FISH Store, or for mass intentions at St Pius X for Anne or one of your loved ones.
