He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Short and Genevive Short (Miracle); and his sisters, Maxine Bohley and Darlene Serrano. He is survived by : his wife Carol Short (Page); his children, Dawn Rye and Roy Lee Short; his sisters, Barbara Heuss (Rick) and Ruth Collier; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Hasse (Eugene) and Jerry Page (Karen); and his extended family, Pat, Susan Reilly, Mike and Kam Runyan. He is also survived by six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
