He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Heitzenreder and Virginia Heitzenreder (Floer); his wives, Jeanette and Lynn; and his sister Pat "Patsy" LaFavie.
He is survived by: his children, Virginia Harthshorn (Todd) of Ohio, Michael Cox (Kathy) of Louisiana and Bobbie Jo Heitzenreder of Hale. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
