He is survived by: his wife Kathie Berens; his grandchildren, Cory, Ellen Slotman, Marcy, Eric Yonker (Reese), Michael and Erin Slotman; his brother Don (Mary Slotman); his siblings-in-law, Gloria, Jake Toering, Al, Mary Berens, Wanda Schout, Gene Bobeldyk, Linda, Wayne Harmsen, Duane and Sue Berens; Frances Slotman.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bentheim Reformed Church (3997 38th St, Hamilton, MI 49419-9760). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland.
