He was predeceased by: his wife Lois. He is survived by: his children, Eric, Annalee Sale, Paula and Doug Vugteveen; his great grandchildren, Brittney, John Rich (Luna), Alex, Jessica Sale, Jenna, Caleb Block and Nathan Vugteveen; his close friend Sandy DeWys; and his in-laws, Mary VerBurg, Ruth, John Stanley and Virginia Kleinheksel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Wings of Mercy or Hospice of Holland.
