With sadness, we share the passing of Joan Elizabeth Voorhorst of Hamilton, Michigan. Joan, born on September 13, 1934, passed away on August 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Joan for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her husband Allen Voorhorst. She is survived by: her children, Jeff, Nancy Voorhorst, LuAnn, Gene Weener, Rick and Cindy Voorhorst; and her sister Alice (Glen Vander Kolk). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Overisel Reformed Church (4706 142nd Ave, Holland, MI 49423). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to Overisel Reformed Children's Sunday School.
