He was predeceased by : his parents, Gordon Kleinheksel and Martha Kleinheksel (Volkema); his stepmothers, Eleanor Kleinheksel and Pauline Kleinheksel; his sister Audrey Kleinheksel; and his parents-in-law, Jay and Eleanor Nienhuis (Top).

He is survived by : his wife Sherry; his sons, Bryan Kleinheksel (Jessica) of Hamilton and Mark Kleinheksel of Hamilton; his grandchildren, Kilee and Macie; his siblings, Ron Kleinheksel (Sandy) of Holland, Eloise Shattuck (Larry) of Holland, Cynthia Kleinheksel of Holland and Myrna Folkert (Cliff) of Holland; his stepsiblings, Penny Andrews of Bloomingdale, MI and Larry Andrews of Bloomingdale, MI; his aunts, Pauline Volkema of Lombard, IL and Lois Dumar of Redmond, WA; and also Kimberly Kleinheksel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many wonderful friends.
