He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schrotenboer and Jesse Schrotenboer; his wife Eileen; his siblings, Paul Schrotenboer, Dave Schrotenboer, Eugene Schrotenboer and Lois Top; and his in-laws, Junior Eding, Dorothy Eding and Elwin Eding.
He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Schrotenboer of Dunningville, Jeffry Schrotenboer (Marcy) of Hamilton, Jon Jay Schrotenboer (Theresa) of Hamilton and Todd Schrotenboer of Hamilton; his sisters, Judy Bosch, Mary Timmer (Duane), Ellen Bosch (Gordon) and Jane Lampen (Wayne); and his in-laws, Mary Eding, Erma Taylor, Larry Eding (Lorraine) and Lester (Faye). He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 36 Great Grandchildren.
