He is survived by : his wife Esther; his children, Lu Ann Ritsema (James), Gary Van Dyke and Gordon Van Dyke (Cindy); his grandchildren, Stephanie Ritsema, Derek Van Dyke (Nikki), Becky Taylor (Dustin), Greg Van Dyke (Tanya), Benjamin Ritsema (Sydney), Emilie Rillema (Todd) and Jennifer Hoffman (Evan); his great grandchildren, Lincoln Taylor, MacKenzie Taylor, Andrew Hoffman, Natalie Van Dyke, Meryl Van Dyke, Zoey Van Dyke and Gage Rillema; his brother Marvin Van Dyke; and his sister-in-law Isla Brower. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
