He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Schrotenboer and Grace Schrotenboer; his wife Rachel Schrotenboer; his brother Eugene Schrotenboer; and his parents-in-law, Nelson, Jeneatte Dekker, Stanley and Albertha Klein.
He is survived by: his children, Rick, Deanna Schrotenboer, Jodi, Dave Schierbeek, Stacey and John Pluger; his grandchildren, Nicole, Nichalis Goodrich, Corey, Alexandria Schrotenboer, Allison, Connor Davis, Chad Schierbeek, Denise Schierbeek of Courtny Schierbeek, JD, Ashlhi DeYoung, Alexis Boetsma and Morgan Boetsma; and his in-laws, Shirley VanKlompenberg, Earl, Marge Klein and Sandra DePree. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
