She was predeceased by: her parents, Aldrick Kalliainen and Lillian Kalliainen; her husband Andrew Karvonen; her granddaughter Katherine Mary Pellizzaro; her sister Donna; her brother-in-law George Vogel; her sisters, Gail Kalliainen and Helen; and her siblings-in-law, Jack Cunningham, Rudolph Karvonen, Carl Karvonen and Regina Luoka.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Tom Cowell (Amy Axley) of Hancock, Colin Cowell (Cierra Stevens) of Misery Bay and Rachael Pellizzaro of Grand Rapids; her brother Richard Kalliainen of Fort Meyers Beach, FL; and her cousin LaVerne Johnson of South Carolina. She is also survived by loving her family, especially her grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chassell Cemetery.
