With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Lahti of Hancock, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Lahti (Heikkila) and Leonard Lahti; his brothers, William and Bruce Lahti; his in-laws, Mario and June Pardini; and his grandchildren, Rachel Blau and Aidan Lahti.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lahti (Pardini); his cousin Barbara Bryant; his children, Michele Blau (Ron), Catherine Macpherson (Carl), Andrew Lahti (Christina), John Lahti (Meena), Ruth Lahti and Sara Lahti (Ndiaga Thiam); his grandchildren, Anne Koskela (Aaron) and William Blau (Vanessa Dulong); his children, Carl Macpherson V, Isabel Macpherson, Ava, Alice, Ari Lahti, Ananya Lahti, Margot, Tessa Ryynanen, Alexander, Jeye, Quincy and Sharon Lahti-Thiam; and his great grandchild Miles Koskela.
