She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvid Anderson and Ida Anderson (Saviluoto); her daughter-in-law Robbyn Lucier; her grandson Little Ger; and her siblings, Paul, Carl, Harold, Walter, Donald, Irene Blunt, Sarah Jennings, Esther Butler and Ellen Kaiponen.
She is survived by: her husband William; her children, Mark (Melinda), Gerald and Kristen (Joel Ciucci); her grandchildren, Sydney, William and Elizabeth; her daughter-in-law Paula; and her brother Arne Anderson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to Zion Lutheran Church in Hancock or the "Ruth and Bill Lucier Endowed Football Scholarship" at Michigan Tech.
