With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet (Newell) Gron of Hanover, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Conklin and Alma Conklin (Lilly); her brothers, Jim and Bill Conklin; and her son Jeff Newell.

She is survived by: her husband Henry; her sister Linda Conklin; and her daughters, Debbie Abbeg (Jim), Colleen Pugh (Douglas) and Yvonne Morgan (Phil). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Lenawee Medical Care Facility or St. Anthony Catholic Church.
