He was predeceased by: his mother Freda Allen; his stepfather Bill Allen; his father Fletcher Phelps; his stepson Tom Corser; and his mother-in-law Georgia Pulver.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Phelps; his daughter Cheryl Winkler (Bo Winkler); his grandchildren, Brandon Winkler (Lauren), Tom Corser (Amanda) and Trisha Brackett; his great grandchildren, Wayne Corser, Aurora Corser, Ariel Corser, Ava Corser, Sayler Brackett and Braxton Winkler; and his siblings-in-law, Bobby Pulver and Phylis Birdsall (Mike). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hampton Funeral Home.
