With sadness, we share the passing of Merlin Kramer of Harbor Beach, Michigan. Merlin, born on September 2, 1942, passed away on October 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Kramer and Mary Kramer (Booms); his brothers, Dan Kramer (Jean), Gerald Kramer and Joseph Kramer; and his brother-in-law John Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Kramer; his children, Michael Kramer (Victoria) and Cindy Franco (Rene); his grandchildren, Michael Statly (Amanda), Veronica Kramer-Cleve (Ethan), Emmalee Kramer, Alex Franco, Wesley Franco and Mitchell Franco; his stepchildren, Trisha Pieper (Tim), Randy Tietz (Jen), Brian Tietz (Sarah) and Mindi Tietz; his stepgrandchildren, Abby, Greta, Alec and Ella; his siblings, Yvonne Bushey (Louis), Bernadette Thompson, Marvin Kramer (Janet) and Mary Fran Woycehoski (Terry); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Kramer and Joyce Mays. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Ramsey Funeral Home (425 State St, Harbor Beach, MI 48441). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church (7135 E Atwater Rd, Ruth, MI 48470).
