Jack Frank Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack Frank of Harbor Springs, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 7, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Charles and Faye Catherine Frank (Myles); his brother Charles Frank; his siblings-in-law, Etta Frank, Edmund Sutherland and Susan Sutherland; and his in-laws, Howard and Elizabeth Shaw.
He is survived by: his sister Barbara Frank; his siblings-in-law, Nancy, Patty Shaw, Karen Shaw, Ross and Ted Shaw; his nieces and nephews, Liz, Lisa, Cathy, Betsy, Bazel, Paul, Doug, Will and Eddie; and his pet Gus. He is also survived by his wife and their three children.
Although he would have preferred his work to go unnoticed, it wasn't. Jack was the first recipient of the Jack Frank Award given to community members who have made an outstanding contribution to amateur skiing.
