It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Franklin of Harbor Springs, Michigan, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Franklin (McAleenan); and his brothers, Glen and Cameron Franklin. He is survived by: his father Paul Franklin; his wife Shauna Franklin; his siblings, Margaret Kira (Wolodymyr) and Paul Franklin (Mitzi); and his siblings' children, Devan, Georgia, Luci, Claire and Cassie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stutsmanville Chapel (2988 S State St, Harbor Springs, MI 49740). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Island View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Tunnel 2 Towers (t2t.org) or Compassus Hospice (1723 M-32, Gaylord, MI 49735) would be appreciated.
