She was predeceased by: her parents, William Simerson and Isabella Simerson (Ely); her husband Jack Hamilton; her son Scott Hamilton; and her son-in-law Gary Nicholas.

She is survived by: her children, Vincent Hamilton (Kitera) of Harrietta, Deborah Nicholas of Fitzgerald, Georgia and Angela Lichon (Mike) of Grayling; her daughter-in-law Emily Hamilton-Hutchings (Ron) of Cadillac; her grandchildren, Mindy (Andy), Jake (Kelsey), Zack (Cassy) of Ben, AJ, Erica (Andrew), Erin (Adam), Elissa (Isiac), Elizabeth and Autumn (Mike); and her friends, Shirley, Tim, Connie and Bambi. She is also survived by many great- grandchildren.
