James Richard Morisette Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Richard Morisette of Harrietta, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Morisette and Ima Morisette (Guffey); and his siblings, George, Gerald, Bernard Morisette and Rose Armstrong.
He is survived by: his wife Mary V. O'Connor; his children, Cindy Morisette (Jake) of Detroit, Colleen Brown (James) of Dearborn and Charles Haragely of Harrietta; his grandchildren, Aaron Morisette, Ashley Tomblin, Vance Poteet, Adam Poteet, Alexander Brown and Danielle Brown; and his brother Bob Morisette of Caberfae. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Edwards Catholic Church (207 W Gaston Ave, Harrietta, MI 49638). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Edwards Catholic Church.
