He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward G. Kieft and Harriet C. Kieft (Hoebeke); and his brother Norman Douglas Kieft. He is survived by: his wife Joanna Purdy; his children, Michele Phillips (Brant) of Franktown and Randy Kieft (Julie) of Byron Center, Michigan; his stepchildren, Dedee Reece (Ken) of Traverse City, Steven Purdy of Detroit and Scott Purdy (Bethany) of Birmingham, Michigan; and his brother Roger Kieft (Jessie) of Greenwood Village, Colorado.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Harrietta United Methodist Church (116 Davis Ave, Harrietta, MI 49638). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
