He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Steven Essenburg and Anita Essenburg (Dingman); his wife Karen Ann Korotko; his children, Thomas, Steven and Joseph; and his brother John Essenburg. He was also cherished by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A Mass was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Hubert Catholic Parish (38775 Prentiss St, Harrison Twp, MI 48045).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to Eric's wife, Karen Essenburg, to assist with funeral expenses and the future care and support of their three sons.
