It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Joseph Jankowski of Harrison Township, Michigan, born in Hamtramck, Michigan, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Jankowski and Dorothy Jankowski. He is survived by : his wife Lisa Rziemkowski; his children, Joey (Emily) and Jacob (Jennifer); his stepchildren, Jennifer Puzzuoli (Al), Jeremy Rziemkowski and Jason Rziemkowski; his grandchildren, Jayden, Khylee and Emerie Jankowski; his stepgrandchildren, Jaydon Rziemkowski, Aubrey and McKenzie Puzzuoli; and his siblings, Linda Dudra, Tom Jankowski (Carole), Hank Jankowski (Darlene) and Al Jankowski (Rose).

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kaatz Funeral Directors (226 Crocker Blvd, Mt Clemens, MI 48043). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fraternal Order of Eagles (25455 S River Rd, Harrison Twp, MI 48045).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to "Wishes of the Family".
