He was predeceased by: his parents, Mario Antonio and Maria Enrequita Salinas; his wife Patricia Smith; and his son Daniel Salinas. He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Salinas (Jennifer) and Matthew Salinas; and his siblings, Rodolfo Salinas (Ophelia), Mario Salinas (Martha) and Laura Rosa Garza.
