He is survived by: his wife Sue "Shirley" Gdula; his children, Tammie Ferreiro (Juan), Brian (Janelle), Daryl (Christina) and Merle II (Kristina); his grandchildren, Michael (Michele), Josh (Katie), Christopher (Kayla), Merisa (Michael), Evan, Kristyn and Aiden Zajac; and his great grandchildren, Mila, Beau, Kinsley, Mikayla, Brady and Mallory.
