As Mark departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mark. Though Mark may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his father Roger Huizinga; and his brother Rodney Huizinga. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Geelhoed of Wyoming; his children, Mark Huizinga, Heaven Huizinga (Angelo Gervase) of Harrison and Austin Huizinga (Diana) of Washington, D. C.; his granddaughter Paige Ann Gervase; and his sister Dawn Weaver (Charlie) of Middleville.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stephenson - Wyman Funeral Home (1005 N McEwan St, Clare, MI 48617). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund of Clare.
