She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin F. Chase and Hazel V. Chase (Connelly); and her siblings, Vera, Ila, Joyce, Norma, Eddie, Mabel and George.
She is survived by: her husband Robert D. Bernard; her children, Brenda, William Ironside, Tammy Parcher (Larry), Daniel Ironside (Janel), Bobbie-Jo Thompson (Doug) and Robert Bernard Jr. (Michelle); and her siblings, Mark and Jane. She is also survived by 18 Grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Verdun Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services (303 S Bridge St, Belding, MI 48809).
