She was predeceased by : her parents, Forrest Nickerson and Lavina Nickerson (Dingman); and her son Jeffrey Whitman. She is survived by : her husband Phillip Truman Whitman; her children, Deborah Shingledecker (Dan) of Florida, William Whitman of Harrison, Tricia Morrow of Florida and Andrea Whitman of Harrison; her daughter-in-law Theresa Whitman of Tennessee; and her sister Joyce Diehl of North Dakota. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
