He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Gean Dring (Blalock) and Richard Lowell Dring; and his brother-in-law Larry Peuterbaugh. He is survived by: his wife Gail Rose Murphy of Harrison; his children, Richard Thomas Dring (Tammy) of Davison, Leighann Young, Kevin Gamble of Harrison and Scott Alan Dring of Harrison; his grandchildren, Allison Robinson (David), Richard Thomas Dring III, Cameron Dring (Gracie), Kevin Roy Gamble (Lindsey), Marisa Dring (Joe), Ashlynn Gamble (Justin) and Bella Dring; and his siblings, Judy Peuterbaugh of Port Huron, Renee Skone (David) of Florida and Ronald Dring of Port Huron.
