He was predeceased by : his parents, William G. Hastings and Hilda Hastings (Fettes); his former life partner Mary Jo Hastings (Smith); his sister Phyllis Bowersox; and his parents-in-law, Francisco and Lydia Avino.
He is survived by : his wife Isa Hastings (Avino); his children, William J. Hastings (Gina) of Yorkville, IL and Carla Brown (Tom) of DeRidder, LA; his grandchildren, Cynde Quiroz, Cathe Rice and Michelle Hanks; his sister Martha Beroset; his siblings-in-law, Maria Helena (Carlos), Lydia (Roberto) and Francisco Jr.; and his siblings, Joe and Linda Hastings of Black River, MI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
