We announce the death of Barbara Jean Persyn of Harsens Island, Michigan, who passed away on June 6, 2026, at the age of 80. Barbara will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Morrison and Mary Morrison; and her brothers, Robert, William and James Morrison.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel Persyn Jr.; her children, Daniel III Persyn (Christine), Frederick John Persyn, Jennifer Paczkowski and David Persyn (Amy); her grandchildren, Alex, Benjamin, Stephanie, Ethan, Devin, Henry and Elliot; her great grandchildren, Jack Daniel and Cooper; and her siblings, Carol Magnus, John Morrison (Diana), Joseph Morrison (Alice) and Kathy Poole.
Memorials are suggested to the Reader's Cove Library, Harsens Island.
